Two NT fishermen in stuck in tree for two days

Two men have been rescued after they were stranded in a tree for two days due to their boat partially sinking in crocodile-infested waters in remote Kakadu. The men, aged in their 20s, were on a fishing trip when their boat sank on South Alligator River on Monday, forcing them to climb up a tree. When the pair failed to return, their boss hired a charter helicopter to search for them. They were treated for extreme dehydration and severe insect bites and were flown to Royal Darwin Hospital in a stable condition.
