British Airways pilots to walk off job in biggest strike in airline’s history
British Airways pilots are walking off the job for 48 hours, forcing most flights to ground and disrupting the travel plans of more than 250,000 passengers. The two-day strike is predicted to be the biggest in the airline's history, costing an estimated $180 million in lost revenue. A quarter of a million passengers have been told not to travel on Monday when the two days of industrial action begins. Image: AP
