High Winds Cause Truck Crash in Missouri

Gusty winds blew across parts of the Midwest on December 15, creating dangerous driving conditions. This video, taken in Jasper County, Missouri, shows emergency workers responding to a truck that rolled over amid strong wind gusts. “The driver did not have his seatbelt on and was ejected,” wrote the Missouri State Highway Patrol in a tweet. “Please slow down, buckle up, and focus on the full-time job of driving.” The National Weather Service forecast wind speeds in excess of 50 mph in Jasper County on Wednesday afternoon.
